Cumberland Plateau Hiking

You'll need hiking shoes. And more than one pair. The Cumberland Plateau has thousands of trails for hiking and mountain biking, offering views in all directions; many for miles and miles.

Inside The Bluffs, you can enjoy five unique trails of different elevations and difficulty, along with 770 acres of preserved land.

Outside the Bluffs, you have free reign over the Great Smokey Mountains, Big Fork National Park and more waterfalls than you can count in a year.

Cookeville and Crossville Country Clubs

Take your pick. Around every hill, you can find a championship golf course for every handicap. Some are public, like the Jack Nicklaus-designed Bear Trace at Cumberland Mountain State Park; some are private like Cookeville Country Club.

Some play around water, others wind through mountains. All offer unique, breathtaking views of the Cumberland Plateau.
